Mr. Gorman joined the firm in 1990, having previously been a senior
partner with the firm of Dietrich, Davis, Dicus, Rowlands, Schmidt &
Gorman. His practice is primarily centered in business, tax and estate
planning matters, as well as significant activity with tax-exempt
organizations, including professional and trade associations,
charitable and educational organizations, private foundations and
public and private retirement plans. |

Mr. Gorman
received his undergraduate degree from Harvard College cum laude, in
1954 and his law degree from Harvard Law School magna cum laude in
1956. He also completed graduate studies at the Wharton School,
University of Pennsylvania, 1957-1958. He is admitted to the bars of
Missouri, Supreme Court of the United States, U. S. Circuit Court for
the Eighth Circuit, U. S. District Court for the Western District of
Missouri, U. S. Court of Claims, U. S. Tax Court, and is a member of
the Missouri Bar, the Lawyers Association of Kansas City (President,
Junior Section, 1960; Executive Committee, 1968-1971), Greater Kansas
City Metropolitan Bar Association, Clay County Bar Association,
American Bar Association and the Harvard Law School Association of
Missouri (President, 1973). Mr. Gorman served as chairman of the 7th
Judicial Circuit Citizens Committee from 1982 to 1984. He served on
active duty in the United States Army from 1956 to 1958, continuing
thereafter in the United States Army Reserves, from which he was
discharged as a Captain in the Judge Advocate General's Corps in 1968.
