Frank B.W. "Bill" McCollum joined the firm in July 2008 after
having practiced law with Spencer Fane Britt and Browne and as a
member of McCollum & Parks, LC, collectively for a total of 39
years. Bill's practice focus is employment law, family law and civil
litigation in federal and state courts in Missouri and Kansas.
Mr. McCollum graduated from Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT
and Duke Law School. Before attending Duke, Bill served 5 years on
active duty with the US Navy as a Lieutenant. He is a Vietnam
veteran.

Mr. McCollum prosecutes and defends against claims, both jury and
non jury, in federal and state trial and appellate courts in
Missouri and Kansas and administrative agencies ranging from
employment discrimination, wage and hour, unemployment, antitrust,
environmental, breach of contract, personal injury, and malpractice.
In addition, Bill routinely represents individuals in family law
disputes including dissolution of marriage (MO) and divorce actions
(KS) and modification of support and custody orders. He has served
as special master in actions in Jackson County Circuit Court.
Mr. McCollum is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Barstow
School, Elmwood Cemetery and John Wornall House Museum
